BIOGRAPHY
Anthony Roach is an Australian landscape photographer who lives on the coastal beaches of Sydney, Australia. With a PhD in marine biology, Anthony combines his skills as a photographer with his affinity and intimate knowledge of natural environments to produce images which capture seascapes with a unique perspective and mood.

Anthony's surreal seascapes harmonize the evocative forms of coastal landscapes, the swash of the sea and saturated colors of morning's first light. These images have been taken using both 35mm and large format film and digital cameras. He displays his work in fine art galleries and at exhibitions in Sydney and sells work as limited edition prints to people from all over the world.

EQUIPMENT
My initial forays into landscape photography were done using 35mm cameras, that kit consisted of a Nikon F70, Sigma 24mm F2.8, Sigma 28-70mm APO F2.8, Tamron 90mm F2.8 SP macro. This camera was replaced by a Nikon D2X which I still use regularly especially when travelling.

I have also used a Linhof Master Technika with an 80mm Schneider Super Symmar XL. With this kit I shoot 5x4 readyloads or rollfilm.

For the last few years i have been shooting with a Hasselblad H3D with a range of lens including, 28mm, 80mm, 120 mm macro and 50-110mm. Fantastic image quality from the 39 MP sensor!!
